my first blog post

Well, this is my first post here on the blog. In this section, I’d like to provide a more detailed description of some elements related to the creation of this site and the content for it. Perhaps in the future, there might be some more personal posts, but not for now.

First, I’d like to make it very clear that the code for this page is not mine! I took some parts from the Doqmeat.com website, as the webmaster allows the code to be used and adjusted, as long as it’s not fully copied or used as a base. I tried to change a lot here, but I think I miserably failed in the "copying" part.

I really wish I could learn how to do this from scratch, but when I saw that she had a section with all these beautiful text decorations I’ve always wanted to do, like: bold, italic, underlined, links, etc., I wanted to include them on my site too.

I’m saying this with a lot of embarrassment... I thought many times about trying to create it from scratch, but I just couldn’t get anywhere. My goal is to keep modifying it until it looks completely different from the original.

Well, apologies aside, I’d like to talk a little bit about the inspiration for my current theme. I’ve always liked those layouts that mimic the design of old Windows versions, since I grew up using everything from Windows 95 to the current one. It’s a nostalgic feeling that brings me a lot of joy and reminds me of the old times.

Initially, the theme was going to be light, but as I progressed with the editing, my eyes started to get tired. When I switched to dark mode, it was like a breath of fresh air for my eyes.

I love animated backgrounds, and since my theme was going to be dark, I decided to choose a starry background. The ideal goal for this site was that the windows could be closed, minimized, and reopened like Nenrikido's website, but I haven’t learned how to do that yet, so I’ll have to research a lot. Of course, there are websites with well-defined codes for that, but enough with copying codes around 🤔.
