Just small talk...
I'm really proud of myself for managing to change a few aspects of the layout I mentioned earlier. Now the windows open and close, and my site has that look of an open computer screen. It's working fine on my Mac; we'll see later when I use my PC. For most people here on Neocities, some elements of the code are probably as easy as getting dressed, but it took me an entire afternoon to understand and apply the right scripts and CSS to achieve what I wanted.
Things I still want to do:
1 - Add a task list
2 - Add music to the site (I don't know where to host the MP3 files, and I only have the free version of Neocities)
3 - Create more shrines: I've been thinking a lot about nostalgic things that used to bring me happiness
4 - I want to update my game list: I got lazy and didn't add games from other platforms
5 - I want to make a page about the concerts I've been to and the places I've traveled.
Another thing I tried to do but couldn't was resizing the Pages window, because it has an iframe inside and it doesn't resize with the window resizing. I did manage to get the div resizing to work...
I also wanted to bring my favorite pixel list, but honestly, it's so much work to save the images, insert them in the code, and credit them, that I give up on the idea.
One thing that scares me a little is starting to post some of the drawings/art I’ve created, but it’s all so simple and basic that I feel embarrassed (who told me to start getting into drawing after 30?).
Anyway, that's all I had to write for today. Tomorrow I won't be working on the blog or adjusting the site because I have two birthdays to organize (my daughter's at school and my mom's).
